A big Hallelujah for the Show Box Project! 71 boxes were recently delivered to the drop off point in Fort Oglethorpe. The $639 for shipping and the $426 for the follow-up devotional classes for each box were paid and your giving covered it all! Many many thanks!

Next Sunday (December 1) is the first Sunday of Advent. There will be a Hanging of the Greens worship at both services.

Anyone who wants to sing in the Christmas Cantata come to choir practice Sundays at 7:00 pm and again Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.

Christmas Cantata will be presented on Sunday, December 15 at 11:00 am. We will have ONE combined service at 11:00 am. Sunday School classes as usual at 10:00 am. the choir will present the Cantata again on Wednesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm followed by the Candlelight Service.

Community Cares is warming up for winter with Yarning For Christmas projects (Monday nights 6:30 to 8:00). Lots of warm hats, scarves, and fellowship are going on to warm us as we share patterns and stories. Everybody is welcome.

Join us for Christmas Printing on Thursday – December 5 (6:30 to 8:00) in the Fellowship Hall. Signing up for this class would be helpful to ensure that the tcorrect amount of supplies are provided. This is also a free Community Cares workshop. Sign up in the church Narthex. Or you can go to our Community Cares Facebook page and sign up. The Fourth Stitch will not meet in December.

A five-week Bible Study, “The Journey: Walking The Road To Bethlehem”, continues and will conclude on December 18. The aim of this study is to help us better understand the events that led up to the birth of Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem; to see more clearly the theological significance the Nativity; and to reflect upon the meaning of those events in our life.

The Fourth Stitch – continues the fourth Friday each month10:00 – 2:00. Bring a project/s to work on or learn to sew, starting with a simple project that will be provided. All skill levels welcome. Brenda McKaig and Connie Ward will be available for support. Bring your own lunch a sewing machine if you have one.

Christmas Crochet/Knitting Fellowship, beginners and all skill levels welcome. Each Monday starting on October 28 – 6:30 pm, until Christmas.
